We are actively looking to secure a Business Analyst/ Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

The Role
We are looking for an innovative and pragmatic Business Analyst/Project Manager (6 months) with a 'can-do' attitude to join our expert team. The successful candidate will have several years' experience of working with both technical and non-technical teams on delivering IT projects using lean /agile methodologies. You will be proactive, have great attention to detail and the ability to plan and multi-task effectively.
Reporting into the Workplace Technology Programme Manager, you'll work closely with the brands and the functional areas in the division and be confident and credible with technology, product and commercial stakeholders.

The role will be based in Leeds, but as our teams work from multiple locations it will be a flexible contract with the expectation of working from the office once a month, or more if you like our amazing new office in Wellington Place. It may be a requirement to occasionally travel to other offices.


Experience and Skills
Key skills and experience for this position would ideally include:

  • Business Analysis skills, including the ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders and communicate them to delivery teams using recognised tools and techniques.
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst / Project Manager within a lean / agile development environment within an IT delivery function.
  • Experience performing analysis and management at all levels of the organisation, building and maintaining relationships
  • Understanding of customer interactions and user journeys and demonstrating a passion for continually improving customer experience.
  • An analytical and inquisitive mindset with the ability to translate business cases and analysis into tangible outcomes.
  • Workshop management in order to elicit requirements, acquire collaborative agreement or promote consensus and communication
  • Naturally collaborative, and with a desire to be part of a highly successful team rather than just a highly successful individual.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with a desire to see a job through to conclusion.
  • Knowledge of Service Desk processes and Asset Management processes could be advantageous but not needed

Key Activities & Responsibilities
Reporting into the Workplace Technology Programme Manager you will be expected to:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with various business stakeholders to elicit, understand, document and prioritise new requirements
  • Utilise your experience to identify right analysis technique for the right stage in the product development lifecycle.
  • Implementation of suitable governance to ensure successful delivery of the project, actively monitoring for identifying and removing blockers and impediments to the delivery process.
  • Analyse sophisticated systems and clearly communicate findings.
  • Ensure problems are defined to the right level of detail and help define solution options.
  • Define clear and unambiguous business requirements, processes and user journeys.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure an accurate and shared understanding of requirements.
  • Oversee delivery of the project to ensure the project is adequately resourced and successfully delivered to scope, cost and quality.
  • Maintain standard project artefacts and controls to manage the progress of the project and provide regular progress update reports.
