Location: Edinburgh (on site 3 days per week)
Duration: Initial 3-month contract
IR35 Status: In scope

A Business Analyst is required to join a multinational technology client. This role will be based in Edinburgh, on site 3 days per week, initially working remotely on a 3-month contract with the view to extend.

About the role:
You will be working on a financial services and insurance project, involving the design of a new service for an end client in the Pensions sector. You will be collaborating with Technical Experts, Insight Analysts, CX designers and Communications Specialists to create an end-to-end set of documents to be used as the basis of the Service Design.

Key responsibilities:
As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating documentation from the design activities to support the Solutions Team, including Level 3 & 4 process maps, User Manual / Training materials and User stories.
  • Contributing to the creation of customer journeys
  • Reporting your progress and highlighting possible hinderances to achieving your Sprint deliverables.
  • Creating working documents to build operational processes and support training material.
  • Working with collaboration tools such as Jira to capture and track requirements.
  • Creating technical requirements to aid the building of outputs.


Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Be an experienced Agile Business Analyst with extensive experience of documenting AS-IS/TO-BE process maps and user stories.


You should have:

  • Experience of working with business subject matter experts, application development squads, and product owners.
  • Experience of delivering Business Analysis output and Customer Journey design for the technical build of the solution.
  • Knowledge of Contact Centre Operations / Customer Experience
  • Experience of working within Financial Services and Pensions
  • Problem solving, time management and stakeholder management experience.


Skills

  • UK Pensions Legislation knowledge
  • Pega Business Architect with knowledge and experience in implementing transformation projects using Pega.
  • Financial Services Operations knowledge
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Jira / Zephyr or any other collaborative tools for capturing tracking requirements.
  • Financial Services qualifications.
