Business Analyst - Agile

Duration: 1-2 Months

Location: Cambridge

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to work alongside the SAP Securities team to investigate and analyse the current SAP roles landscape. You'll work collaboratively with IT and business functions to understand the current situation, elicit requirements for improvement, define options to achieve those improvements and make the case for change.

You would join a large and engaging functional team and will work day to day within product teams, alongside Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, testers, UX and architects as well as being the bridge out to the business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

In this initial 6 week piece of work, using your experience of SAP and role management, you will work alongside the SAP securities team to:

  • Perform detailed analysis of the current SAP role environment, working with colleagues across the business to understand current risks and issues
  • Identify and document risks and areas for concern
  • Facilitate the development of customer requirements for role remediation, owning the interaction with internal business stakeholders, prioritising and de-conflicting where necessary
  • Define options for SAP role remediation, documenting the costs, benefits, risks and issues of each approach and making a final recommendation on the way to move forward

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent at influencing and motivating individuals and teams
  • Working with ambiguity in a dynamic working environment
  • Phenomenal communication skills and can work at multiple levels
  • Demonstrates drive, energy and resilience to work in an agile environment
  • Approachable, confident and friendly manner, able to challenge appropriately
  • Experience working with SAP (or equivalent ERP system)
  • Understanding of best practice role management processes and procedures
  • Good presentation skills
