We are actively looking to secure a Business Analyst to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Role Summary

Our client's Data Platform is being transformed and moved to new co-located infrastructure which will involve the introduction of new cloud toolsets and a new operating model. As part of the transformation, our client require an experienced Business Analyst to assist in the programme, specifically focused on the automation of workflows.

Main Responsibilities

Using agile methods (scrum), you will be expected to liaise across technical and business teams to accurately document process flows, perform logical data modelling where necessary and gather requirements via the authoring of user stories.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • The role requires an experienced Business Analyst familiar with a broad range of IT systems, both infrastructure and applications ideally
  • Must possess a strong BA skillset including superb communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent analytical skillset
  • Experience with agile methods (scrum)
  • Experience with logical data modelling
  • Lots of experience with user stories, requirements elicitation, process flow mapping, operating model changes / process reengineering
  • Workflow management

Desired Skills & Experience

  • An awareness of ITIL
  • Previous financial services experience, especially relating to data distribution or electronic trading platforms
  • Experience working with a geographically distributed team
  • Experience of large scale transformations / re-platforming, especially relating to private cloud infrastructure
