Our client is looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for assisting the Business and Technical Product Owners to configure the new Planning IT System. In carrying out this role they must: Work with the Business Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to configure the proposed functions to best meet the MVP requirements. This will include: Analyse the existing business processes to understand business requirementsIdentify, capture and document potential new processes, and business change of existing processesAnalyse and evaluate the proposed functional proposals by the SupplierCommunicating this analysis to Business Product Owners through verbal and documentation (including process maps, business procedures and associated client documentation)Participate in progress review meetings, workshops / sprints with the Client and SupplierWork with the Technical Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to configure the proposed technical proposals to best meet the MVP requirements. This will include Analyse the existing IT environment to understand business requirementsAnalyse and evaluate the proposed technical proposals by the SupplierCommunicating this analysis to the Technical Product Owner through verbal communication and documentation (including process maps)Participate in progress review meetings workshops / sprints with the Client and SupplierWork with the Business Lead and Change and Transition Lead to deliver potential business improvements. This will include Analyse and evaluate potential options for delivering on-line planning services, property certificates, and potential other services / business process changes; andPlan and implement new business processes to deliver benefits.Work with the Test Lead to review and agree the Test Strategy, Test Plans as well as supporting detailed user acceptance testing by Client staff, contributing to the creation of test scripts and acceptance criteria as required.Work with the Data Lead to review the Data Migration proposals submitted by the Supplier. This will include Analyse and evaluate the data held Analyse and evaluate the proposals submitted by the SupplierAnalyse, and contribute as required, on the Data Migration process and control/quality checks.Communicating this analysis to Data LeadWork with the Training Lead to review the Training proposals submitted by the Supplier.
