Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed requirement gathering to identify key processes impacted by projects and change, obtain detailed business requirements and understand key implications and issues arising. Document detail gathered in a suitable format, walk through and gain sign off with business users
  • Support Project Manager(s) in the production of project life cycle documentation e.g. project initiation, business case, change controls
  • Validate designs meet requirements and identify gaps, raise issues, and communicate these to key business users to manage delivery expectations
  • Design and/or document any new or impacted process requirements to corporate standards
  • Identification and documentation of project acceptance criteria, validate test scripts and liaise between test teams and OSPs to manage test schedule impacts
  • Identify issues and document options for presentation to key stakeholders
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers
  • Assist the PM with technical task requirements analysis, such as communications requiring detail and presentation

Additional skills and experience

  • Knowledge of financial services in the life and pension industry
  • A confident communicator and relationship builder, with strong analytical , report writing and presentation skills, who can demonstrate a solid grasp of the full project life cycle
  • Accustomed to working in a defined regulatory environment with the ability to contribute to the business, technical and management requirements of the role
  • Ability to capture "as is" and "to be" process through 1-2-1 meetings and workshops, and define impact
  • Able to evidence strong team working background
