QA Biostatistician

A Biostatistician is required to join a leading Med Device company based in the South West. This position offers an impressive and unique opportunity for interested candidates. This position requires people who want to be challenged, have a passion for success, and a constant drive to exceed expectations.

This role will be responsible for providing Statistical and Data focused support to the Quality Assurance team. This individual will work cross functionally with many teams on site and will be experienced in a range of aspects including QA, auditing, inspections, continuous improvement, data analysis and reporting. This is a perfect opportunity to join a select team that has already established itself as a frontrunner leading the way in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate report generation and data analysis for the CIA Post market quality department

  • Support additional departments with information requests

  • Analyse trends and escalate product issues to senior management

  • Support audit activities

  • Generation of information for agency reporting

  • Acts as a mentor for data analysis within department

  • Reports metrics during daily management

  • Represent the company as subject matter expert for data analysis

  • Participate in the design, implementation, and schedule for QA projects.

  • Represent QA on development, current business or product improvement projects.

  • Recommends changes and process improvements.

  • Support post market surveillance activities

  • Support continuous improvement activities within the department

Education/Experience

  • Degree level in a Science or Engineering related discipline.

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar laboratory / complaint handling Environment in a healthcare company.

  • Good knowledge of FDA QSR and ISO13485 requirements.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
