The Team

Who will you be working with?

The Bid Team for ManpowerGroup are looking to add to their highly experienced and supportive team. In the role of Bid Manager, you'll support in the preparation of bids across the entire ManpowerGroup and all of it's brands. You'll be involved with every step of the bid preparation process from start to finish.

Our role in the Bid Team requires us to drive continuous improvement and innovation in client solutions, sharing trends and working practices across the Group. You will also bring your creativity, knowledge and experience to create solutions that drive successful outcomes.

The Role

So, what will you be doing?

As Bid Manager, you are responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process. Working closely with stakeholders from across the business, you are responsible for coordinating this virtual team and all actives to ensure we submit our responses on time every time. Stages in the process include:

  • Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ)
  • Request for Information (RFI)
  • Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • Request for Quotations (RFQ)

As a Bid Manager you will stay up to date with industry trends and thought leadership both internally and externally using your insight to create high value documents for our clients and give ManpowerGroup the best possible chance of success.

In addition to your core activities you will work with the Bid Team to ensure we maintain an up to date knowledge bank to support the agility and efficiency of the business.

About You

Each stage requires you to use a variety of MS tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint so it is important that you are confident with these applications.

Time management, efficiency and the ability to manage deadlines and work with minimal supervision is essential, so is team work. You will have to cope with a substantial amount of responsibility, remain calm under sometimes severe pressure.

You'll need to have very strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with a keen eye for detail. Prior experience in requirements gathering and delivering presentations is a plus but not essential.
