My clients quest to build a better bank starts a new chapter with the build of the Digital Bank. We are offering the right candidates a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a team that will deliver a shock wave through the status quo. Working in a start-up environment, we are looking for people that have the ability to think, question the status quo and act to deliver a paradigm breaking banking experience.

The successful applicant will have responsibility for analyzing and profiling key business data, developing transformations and mappings for data processing, testing results of data processing pipelines and developing dashboards to generate data profile and quality reports.

This start-up business will need to be designed from the top down and built from the bottom up; as such the Cloud Data Analyst will be a critical role in the analysis, profiling and improving data quality as well as ensuring high quality of data processing work for Digital Bank's cloud data platform. The successful applicant will also work closely with the wider Digital Bank's technology team to ensure alignment of requirements and the delivery of a world class cloud data platform environment for the benefit of Digital Bank.

Key Accountabilities

  1. 1. Design a framework for data profiling and data quality management in DB data platform working with data architects and business stakeholder
  2. 2. Analyze core business data and create data quality reports on a regular basis
  3. 3. Work with data architects and business stakeholders to establish, document and present data classification, data security and data lifecycle requirements
  4. 4. Develop data mapping documentation to capture end-to-end data transformation requirements to

be used by data engineers to build data processing pipelines

  1. 5. Design and execute component and integration test plans to ensure quality of the data processing jobs
  2. 6. Delivery excellent work at speed, document, fail fast, rebuild.



Experience in analysis and profiling of business data in large relational databases for an enterprise using SQL

Experience in creating data profiling reports for business and IT management

Experience creating data mappings between source and destination databases in a multi-TB

traditional relational data warehouse

Experience in documenting and running test plans associated with data integration/processing pipeline development

Experience in documenting data security, data encryption, data access control and data lifecycle policies for an enterprise working with data architects and business stakeholders

Strong experience working with RDMS databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or SQL Server), strong SQL

programming experience

Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in using industry standard data quality tools (Informatica, Talend, SQL Server Integration


Experience in working in data quality governance programs, specifically developing data quality processes

Experience in working with Big Data clusters e.g. Hadoop, Spark, supported by various Databases

(relational, Hive, No SQL), object stores (S3) on AWS.

Good understanding of financial services, banking products and the underlying technology solutions and architectures or/and relevant experience of Digital/Ecommerce platforms.

Excellent analytical skills, technical skills, written and verbal communication skills, planning and

organisational skills.

Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical stakeholders will understand

Highly organised, with the ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment
