Audience Manager

The digital lead in the business responsible for driving the DMP project with respects to the digital marketing effort. Main business contact for Salesforce DMP and SAS IA, best situated in Digital and Marketing. An expert within the field of digital marketing, data management and advertising. They would be a super user of both the Salesforce DMP and SAS IA Ad Server. They would champion the tool to the wider digital and marketing business, where it has most impact. They would converse regularly with IIT's platform owner to ensure the tool is compliant and runs smoothly. Typical role functions and responsibilities would include:

People Management

  • Manage the Audience Planner
  • Work closely with IIT on all new SAS and Salesforce DMP product upgrades, enhancements and system procedures

Data & Privacy Management

  • Formulate a marketing data strategy, assessing the departments data points
  • Drive the use of data and adoption of Salesforce DMP across Digital and Marketing
  • Help manage and identify possible 3rd party and 2nd party data opportunities
  • Ensure Digital and Marketing adheres to all aspects of data privacy, GDPR and compliance
  • Attend internal marketing and data initiative forums and steering groups representing
  • Benchmark and champion Digital marketing's use of data within the wider financial industry
  • Present new data initiatives to the wider marketing team

Product Management

  • Lead point of contact and Super user for Salesforce DMP and SAS IA within Clients Digital and marketing
  • Lead point of contact for Audience Extension and the DSP

Sales Management

  • Increase revenue from marketing campaigns

Research & Analytics

  • Understand the latest industry trends and use cases surrounding the use of the DMP
  • Review, enhance and optimise audience segmentation
  • Develop deeper campaign reporting with recommendations for the business

Professional Experience

  • Good experience of online advertising with a track record in problem solving and decision making a must.
  • Experience with digital campaign setup, optimization and reporting; audience segmentation, audience development, ad targeting and delivery
  • Experience working for or closely with data management platforms (DMP), data exchanges, ad networks, demand side platforms (DSP), agency trading desks or supply side platforms (SSP)
  • Knowledge of applications for database management, data administration, business intelligence, ad exchange trading, real-time bidding (RTB), demand- and supply-side platforms (DSP, SSP), ad serving
  • Superior skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and web applications
  • A network of industry contacts is advantageous
