A world leading security and technology service provider who have invested billions of pounds in their services working with the most high profile clients on the most cutting edge projects. This role is available due to a company expansion.

The Job

You will be responsible for providing commercial support to a portfolio of projects, from initial opportunity identification through to contract completion

You will also be responsible for all aspects of commercial support including customer contracting, project procurement, export and import control, risk management and change control

As the Assistant Commercial Manager you will work closely with the sales and project teams to structure, negotiate and close compelling customer deals

Working closely with other internal functions (IP, Legal, Insurance, Risk, Contracts, Projects, and Bid Management)

Managing NDAs, MoUs, Teaming Agreements, TAAs and Shareholder Agreements will be a key part of your role

You will manage the post contract process, ensuring continued customer satisfaction

The Fit

Knowledge/understanding of the work of a Commercial function

Previous experience of providing relevant advice on all commercial aspects of transactions and agreements.

Experience of working with financial information and an awareness of financial impacts on bids/contracts/projects.

Previous experience of working with Business Development teams would be beneficial but not essential

Proficient user of MS Word and Excel

Excellent behavioural skills including the ability to be proactive and responsive to customer/team needs

Able to quickly build good working relationships with internal and external customers

Deliver own tasks to time quality and cost

A high level of attention to detail
