Assistant Category Manager - PAYE CONTRACTORS ONLY

Support the implementation of the global Facilities Management strategy, supporting related procurement activity.
Ensure the category management approach follows standardised processes, acknowledges lessons learnt and good practice, and delivers improved operational efficiency.
Support the delivery of category savings and cost avoidance plans
Manage risk within the supply chain through commodity knowledge, checking supplier capabilities and financial health and helping to ensure that contractual arrangements protect best interests.
Support tender activity to ensure best value for money from the market across cost, quality and service parameters.
Engage with multiple cross- divisional and cross-functional stakeholders, to ensure that Indirect Procurement sourcing activities align to key operational objectives and expectations.
Act as an Ambassador of the central Procurement organisation with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, supporting internal stakeholders in delivery of annual cost, quality & delivery objectives for assigned commodities.
Follow Indirect Procurement processes, practices and reporting, to drive continuous improvement and align activities.
Utilise best practice and latest procurement tools and approach in order ensure category governance and compliance.
