They are a highly reputable Reinsurance organisation with a very impressive portfolio of international clients.Role responsibilities:Responsible for investigation of problems and incidents in applications and services and assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measuresClose cooperation with infrastructure services (managed workplace, IT Operations, EMEA Service Desk)Monitors and manages 3rd level support incl. SLAsSupports "go live" after deployment of releasesSupports and conducts application service requests and carries out maintenance tasks for applications as part of the application life cycle while checking that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed proceduresUses tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reportsCarries out agreed operational procedures, incl. application configuration, installation, integration and maintenance in IT Operation.Experience required:Knowledge of state of the art IT environments including MR data centre and public cloud offerings (e.g. Amazon web services AWS, MS Azure)MS SQL Database Admin knowledgeExcellent knowledge of Microsoft and .NET ApplicationsExperience of working with third party suppliersAble to identify root cause problems and advise end users and know when to escalateAble to work under pressure and have excellent stakeholder skillsSomeone with 3 - 5 years Application Support experience Please apply by following the link provided or contact Jonny Mills at Experis for further details.
