My Edinburgh based client are currently recruiting for a number of Support Analysts to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business supporting a respected product that serves multiple customers.

The responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for customers for IT related support issues
  • Diagnosing incidents and seeking to resolve
  • Escalating unresolved issues
  • Documenting issues and resolutions
  • Speaking with customers on the phone on a daily basis to understand issues and seek resolution.

The relevant candidate for the role will have the following skills:

  • An understanding of SQL databases
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • Experience of working in a customer facing support environment
  • Knowledge of ITIL - certificates would be beneficial.
  • Strong customer facing skills
