Accounts Payable Administrator


Lakeside / Portsmouth


About the role


Here at Babcock we're looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the team being responsible for the day to day entry of purchase invoices onto the accounting system where throughput is in excess of 30,000 items per month.
This is an exciting opportunity with career progression into Finance.
Main responsibilities include;

  • Inputting invoices onto the accounting system and sending out for approval via Omnidox whilst ensuring they are authorised in line with authorities list
  • Matching invoices with purchase orders and reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Investigating and helping resolve invoice queries, including dealing with internal and external customers to gain necessary information
  • Raise one off BACS and cheque payments as requested
  • Raising of Easy Trade cards.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and any other duties associated with Accounts Payable as requested


What do I need to do the role?
You will have a working background as an Accounts Payable Administrator and proven demonstrable experience of Navision. SAP would also be an advantage.
You will be tenacious with a personable approach and demonstrate common sense within your work.
