Location: London
Duration: Initial 3 months - extension potential
Rate: £500 - £540 Per Day

My client is currently seeking 2 Agile Test Lead's to join them on an initial 3 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have Agile, leadership and strong communication skills in equal measures to a Technical Testing &/or Development background. They must be T-Shaped (Testing Core) and Two other core IT Disciplines e.g. BA, PM, DEV, SA, ENV MGER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate industry leading testing and automation best practices e.g. TDD
  • Conduct Agile process and maturity audits and assessments to ensure the development teams are practicing the Agile approaches and principles
  • Trigger and support Agile adoption and optimization of Agile processes, principles and practices by educated and leading existing team members and identifying new hires to the account
  • Management of Agile methodology related roles, activities, and events including project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and demos
  • Recommend and develop regular project team and program level efficiency and productivity metrics, and project dashboards around relevant schedule, scope, and quality areas, inclusive of agile and traditional metrics
  • Contribute to developing the clients central Agile practice and strategy
  • Guiding, managing and coaching team members

Qualifications Required:

  • Certfied Scrum Master
  • Certfied Product Owner
  • Scaled Agile e.g. SAFe

Essential Skills:

  • Test Methodology: Agile, TDD, BDD, Kanban
  • Significant experience facilitating agile meetings and ceremonies involving the customer and key stakeholders, from initial backlog creation through successful release
  • Be familiar with various Agile methodology and support tools like VersionOne, Rally, Jira, etc.
  • Be experienced in managing technology development projects and programs, on a large scale (3-6 scrum teams, or a release train)
  • Easily communicate the complex priorities of a project to diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Develop Agile processes that enable rapid and continuous improvement
  • Have strong skills in knowledge and traditional project management to underpin your agile knowledge
  • Has experience at inspiring and supporting change at individual, team and organizational levels, in the adoption and ongoing improvements of effective and scalable Agile methods, processes, tools, and metrics.
  • Helps individuals and teams reach their highest potential and grow in a collaborative and iterative environment
  • Experienced in a consulting environment with demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity and innovation
