The Agile Delivery Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Delivery of projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
  • Agile reporting and governance alongside key project stakeholders
  • Facilitating scrum teams for greater creativity and improved efficiency
  • Managing the scrum process and the coordination of multiple scrum teams
  • Removing impediments for scrum teams
  • Arranging and facilitating daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint demo and sprint retrospective meetings across multiple projects
  • Helping Product Owners build, maintain and prioritise product backlogs, ensuring they are detailed enough at the right time

We're keen to talk to people with the following skills and experience:

  • 2-3 years' experience of managing agile project delivery through software development teams
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a Scrum Master role alongside software development teams
  • Successfully applied Agile/XP/Scrum practices and introduced Agile techniques - you may have coached teams to apply these techniques effectively
  • Understanding of basic fundamentals of iterative software development and incremental delivery
  • Understanding of high quality user stories and how to drive to a satisfactory MVP
  • An adaptable and pragmatic approach and a curious mind, continually asking 'why'
  • An appreciation of what 'better' looks like, and the will to make improvements happen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven by a passion for Agile, Scrum and managing the delivery of multiple project teams

The following skills and experience are nice to have:

  • Knowledge of other Agile methodologies such as DSDM and SAFe
  • Project management qualifications such as Agile PRINCE2
  • Knowledge / experience of using tools such as Jira for Agile project / product management
