Role: Agile Delivery Manager

As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the Agile Ways of Working, Leadership and line management of the Agile Delivery Team, supporting the delivery of our key initiatives and mobilising squads and teams.

  • You will be responsible for managing the end to end delivery of software products and initiatives, throughout the lifecycle from "Idea" to "Validation of the outcome".
  • You will have experience in a similar role within a large, fast moving online business and will be an expert in Lean and Agile software product delivery. Specifically, you will have a proven track record of delivering better customer experiences, whilst delivering major feature enhancements and supporting growth in customer satisfaction and transaction volumes.
  • You will also have a reputation of delivering complex technology and product initiatives in a fast paced results driven Agile environment and have developed tools and techniques for working with autonomous Agile teams and bringing them together to deliver large business and technology initiatives.
  • You will be passionate about Lean-Agile methodologies and be an experienced practitioner of the core principles of Lean Startup such as MVP, quick feedback loops, releasing value early and often, adaptive planning, eliminating waste, reducing WIP, fixing bottlenecks, delivering fast, continuous improvement and short inception cycles. You'll be equally adept at managing delivery via third parties using agile and perhaps more traditional waterfall methods.
  • You will be responsible for the end to end delivery of key business initiatives, working with an array of business areas such as technology, marketing, operations and many more
  • You will manage multiple dependencies and roadmaps across teams, ensuring these are planned and aligned to successfully deliver on time.
  • You will be responsible for supporting and innovating our data
  • Metrics and driven delivery techniques through working with squads to enhance their estimation, metrics tracking, forecasting and planning tools.
  • You will have extensive experience in coaching Agile teams and using a variety of tools and techniques to influence those around you to optimise process and drive delivery.
  • You will also have experience in line managing a team of highly skilled Agile Delivery professionals. Such as Agile delivery leads and Business Analysts aiding development and career progression.
  • You will be able to take a data driven, experimental approach to solving problems and investigating opportunities. You will leave and breath on a continuous improvement mindset.
