Main Purpose of Job
We are embedding agility in our ways of working, building capability for a digital SSE of the future, meeting the needs of our customers in a different way.
Key Accountabilities
- Fostering an agile working environment, accelerating ways of working and building capability within the organisation.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to teams through facilitation and utilisation of agility tools, methods and visual aids.
- Creating the business agility transformation plan. Facilitating the creation of the plan, communicating upcoming changes, and establishing metrics to measure the transformation journey's success.
- Identifying value streams and aligning business activity and development teams to the value streams.
- Leading and coaching cultural change, and embedding servant leadership across teams.
- Providing training and thought leadership on agility and related capabilities Developing and leading communities of practice, and other forums, to proactively share knowledge.
- Leading identification and unblocking of cross product impediments to flow and agility through influencing, advocating experiments, and extending an agile mindset and agility practices.
- Coaching teams to understand where they are on the path to adopt business agility.
- Supporting with development of action plans that the enterprise needs in order to grow in line with business agility competencies.
- Providing input into the governance process itself, including the methods and tools to be used.
- Applying lessons learnt process and actively elicit relevant feedback.
