Job: Business Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Duration: 6 months

Location: London

Type: Remote ( Must have the right to work in the UK)

Pay: £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Job Summary:

Agile Technical Business Analyst needed to manage 3rd party security Programme

Person Specifications:

  • 2-5yrs in Cybersecurity, with strong knowledge of Third Party Security Review processes in/for financial institutions.
  • Able to manage multiple activities at a time.
  • 1-2yrs experience in Agile way of working.
  • Data migration experience.
  • Cyber standard, Policy and / or control writing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or view points.
  • Document the following requirements:

a. Business requirements

b. Functional requirements

c. Business Rules

d. User requirements

e. Non-functional requirements (Performance, Uptime, Security, etc)

f. Implementation requirements

g. Support/Maintenance Requirements

h. Report Specifications

  • Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.
  • Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by relevant teams required to deliver them.
  • Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints and other non-functional requirements, prototypes, scenarios or process flows where required.
  • Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams).
  • Produce UI mock-up screens if required.
  • Write use cases and document User Acceptance Criteria for each requirement.
  • Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, verifiable and that they conform to standards.
  • Lead requirements review sessions to ensure final requirements are understood by all affected team members. Make adjustments as necessary to ensure clarity. Obtain sign-off from all stakeholders.
  • Participate in requirements prioritization.
  • Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents. Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
  • Enter, manipulate and report on requirements stored in a SharePoint or confluence page. Define requirement attributes and facilitate their use throughout the project.
  • Assist with the migration of legacy system(s) data to the target system ensuring data is correctly assessed, mapped, extracted, cleansed, validated and loaded. Select an appropriate method of transferring the data with due consideration to the amount of data and available bandwidth.
  • Assist in the definition and writing of cyber controls to ensure cyber risk is mitigated effectively through control design.
  • Update and maintain JIRA boards and outcomes
