Carrier Acquisition Manager

  • Reporting to the head of the Carrier Relations team, this role involves identifying, qualifying and on-boarding new suppliers for Dark Fibre and Space & Power within the EMEA region.
  • Responsible for developing, negotiating, and obtaining approvals for Master Service Agreements and Framework Agreements.
  • Obtaining quotations and negotiating individual orders. Managing costs during the life-cycle of acquisitions and dealing with thematic escalations.
  • Project managing the bidding process for network expansion projects.
  • Identifying and delivering cost-reduction projects.
  • Help supervise, act as primary mentor and trainer of more junior level CAM roles.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS

  • Knowledge of suppliers within the EMEA region for dark fibre, space & power
  • Pick-up and review requirements for 3rd party co-location (Space & Power), dark fibre and wave (if Network related) submitted by relevant NP&I Teams to AMO CAM team (via Netbuild or legacy ECRF)
  • Experienced in developing contract and commercial arrangements with suppliers, negotiating contracts and costs
  • Professional and self-motivated; ability to work productively and effectively with little guidance
  • Negotiate optimum commercial and contractual agreement with vendor to ensure competitive offer
  1. A) In case of existing vendor: finalise order form/contract order form
  2. B) In case of new supplier: review and negotiate new MSA/contract + kick-off vendor on-boarding process
  • Provide guidance to CAM co-ordinator to get contract/order signed and submit to vendor, if required
  • Support more complex pre-sales requirements (quotations) on Ad Hoc basis
  • Support CAM co-ordinator to clarify requirements with NP&I and finalise 3rd party solution with vendor
  • Detail oriented; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Outlook, MS Excel, Word.
