Accounts Receivable Team Leader - Competitive Salary and Benefits - Aberdeen/ Cheltenham

Looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader for a leading global business on a permanent basis in Cheltenham or Aberdeen. This individual will lead, manage and motivate the Accounts Receivable team.

This individual will ensure established policies, procedures and deadlines are adhered to, and necessary process enhancements are made to improve controls and governance and standardise the processes where appropriate across the business.

Main Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable function on a day to day basis.
  • Take full responsibility for the performance management of the team in order to ensure that quality and deadlines are achieved and maintained and that any issues are managed in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the four business unit balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely monthly completion and swift resolution of outstanding items.
  • Fulfil standard and ad hoc client reporting requirements.
  • Identify training needs and provide development support to members of the team.
  • Assist team members with workload during periods of high volume or absence due to holidays or sickness.
  • Provide peer support to Accounts Payable team leader.
  • Raise monthly flying charge invoices on calendar month.
  • Raise fixed cost charge invoices for submission to customers.
  • Provide cash receipt forecasts to the Management Accounts team on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience of accounts receivable and credit control for a low volume, high value, m-currency ledger in a supervisory role.
  • Experience of recording and monitoring standard Accounts Receivable.
  • KPIs and using these metrics to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise the team's and your workload effectively in order to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Report writing skills.
