My client is seeking an Account Manager with some Business Development experience to work on a permanent basis for a market leading global business based in Central London.

The organisation is a global business information services and media organisation who work within the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, intellectual property and science and media markets. The Account manager will be accountable for nurturing and growing existing client relationships across Corporate, Law Firms, Public Sector, academics and Government.

Core Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

  • Manage and develop existing accounts across multiple product lines
  • Maintain and develop existing customers through appropriate positions and ethical sales methods, relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the sales process.

Technical Skills and qualifications required

  • Understanding of Legal industry preferred (not essential)
  • Experience of managing high volume accounts.
  • Highly motivated and self confident in approach to role.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise according to the overall plan.
  • Good networking and relationship building abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and customers.
