SECURITY COORDINATOR

FULL TIME - 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

The Job
This role is responsible for the administration of all security clearances, ensuring that the relevant forms are completed correctly and addressing errors when necessary

Key Accountabilities


You will collate all the necessary clearance paperwork, checking and signing off on all requests as well as issuing the correct paperwork to each candidate to ensure they have the right documentation to apply for the required security level.
It will be your responsibility to liaise with multiple departments and external agencies to ensure that all requests for new starters are carried out in a timely manner, including the monitoring of current cleared personnel to ensure that those about to expire are highlighted and processed in sufficient time
Your communication channels will interface with both internal and external agencies on the compliance of clearance requirements.
As the main point of contact for the Security Programme you will be receiving and acting on all clearance information received via the United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV), ensuring details are loaded onto the System in a timely manner including maintaining and updating records as necessary and handling all information with the utmost confidentiality.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
We are looking for a proactive team player who is looking to work in a fast paced, busy and challenging environment.

Experience working within an administration role in an office environment. Any security experience would be desirable however not essential for this role.

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft packages. A particular focus on excel would be useful however not essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
