Up to £62,239 + Allowances + Excellent Benefits

We are looking for individuals with experience of Service Management, alongside Service Design and Transition, who wish to further their career in Service Design and Transition. This role is working for our client, a huge public sector organisation, supporting critical national infrastructure by:

* Providing users with the tools they need to access and engage with services, including a Technology Service Desk, product portals and collaboration tools.
* Providing professional Service Management & Integration, including effective operational control, service performance and supplier management processes.
* Delivering the technical Service Support capabilities required to operate our platforms, applications and toolsets.
* Maintaining the Operational Security of our live services.
* Controlling the Service Architecture and lifecycle management of our services.
* Providing effective Business Management to ensure that Live Services operates as a highly effective organisation.

The Service Architecture Design and Introduction team set the direction for the management of operational IT services across the organisation...
* We manage the structured and safe transition to live service
* We produce comprehensive and forward looking service designs
* We ensure that requirements for live service are incorporated early in programmes and projects

Essential Criteria

* The successful candidate will be an experienced IT Service practitioner, who wishes to develop within the Service Architecture profession.
* Strong background working within IT service management, including experience of IT transition.
* Strong stakeholder management experience - working with both internal and 3rd party stakeholders
* Strong problem solving skills within the IT environment will be required
* Experience leading meetings and reviews with Project Managers and Service Managers
* Strong stakeholder and communications skills

Desirable Experience

* The successful candidate will have an ITIL V3 Foundation qualification.
* Additional ITIL qualifications are desirable
* Previous experience working with live services in an ITIL environment
* Beneficial if prior experience managing transition to Live Service.
