1st/2nd line support engineer with strong Microsoft products support experience as well as Iphones and Ipads for a 3 month contract, based in Bristol.

3 Months Contract

The client is a well know national entity that is currently leading the way in their field and they currently require a contractor to provide first and second line software and hardware support. For this role you will need previous working experience Acting as principal on-site reactive first and second line IT support, troubleshooting software and hardware issues including iPhones, iPads, Laptops, Desktops and AV, Assisting in documenting IT systems and set-ups, Troubleshooting basic network issues such as DHCP, DNS, maintaining a high degree of customer service to staff and building users, Basic Active Directory tasks such as creating user accounts, resetting passwords, creating groups etc, Supporting remote and home workers through VPN and remote desktop, Setting up and deployment of IP desk phones, Improving operational processes and ensuring service desk procedures are accurate, appropriate and up to date and Providing IT support and software installations and uninstalls for the training team.

Key Skills:

Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7.

Microsoft Office 2010 and Office 2013

Using and troubleshooting Outlook 2010 and Office 2013.

Windows 2008 and 2012 Server and Windows Exchange 2008 Server.

Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls and VPN technologies

Wireless network (ideally 2008 HP Wireless Networking.)

Experience of supporting iPhones and iPads

Active Directory User and Security administration
