2nd Line Support Engineer

I have partnered with a market leading financial services company who are looking to add a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to their growing team.

There are multiple projects coming up and the successful candidate will be heavily involved in the delivery of these.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor ticketing system, ensuring tickets are being resolved quickly and efficiently
  • Project work including rollouts
  • Work on 1st line escalations
  • Escalate 3rd line technical issues to appropriate teams
  • Support of 1st line team

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a 2nd line IT support role
  • Experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and can do attitude
  • ITIL qualification or understanding of ITIL framework
