1ST LINE - Customer Service, IT Support of Internet related applications - Telephony skills

Our client, a leading provider of technology, tools and services within the education sector has an exciting opportunity for a number of 1st line engineers to join their team based in Abingdon.

THIS IS A 6 WEEK INITIAL CONTRACT STARTING IN JANUARY AND CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS

Role details:

  • The successful candidates will providing the clients broadband customer with a positive support experience
  • The project is focusing on a SSL certificate upgrade project- support is required to advise customers on the requirement to upgrade their SSL certificate and provide information and tools on how to upgrade the certificate
  • Support is also required to provide reactive help to customer queries

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong customer/ interpersonal skills
  • Good telephony and PC skills
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • strong tenacity/ self motivation
  • ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
  • good time management
  • ability to work to strict deadlines
  • candidate should be able to confidently demonstrate a practical understanding of technologies and be able to discuss in layman's terms

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • previous experience working in a telephone support environment
  • previous experience supporting internet related applications
