Our client is a major Broadcasting company seeking an Xbox/Silverlight Software Developer based in west London for an initial 3 month contract with a view for extension. You will join a software development team that uses cutting edge technology to provide applications that put the company first for online content, customer service and sales. As a Software Developer you'll be knowledgeable and passionate about technology, enjoy pairing with other smart people and use agile to ensure your projects succeed. The ideal candidate is required to have the following skills and experience:
Requirements/ Skills:
·Knowledge and experience of a wide range of best of breed open source and commercial technologies
·Experience of creating Rich User Interfaces using XML based UI languages such as Silverlight, FLEX
·Experience of Xbox ADK
·C++, C#, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), XNA, Kinect, VUI
·Experience of software development for high capacity, high traffic, high availability websites/systems
·Understanding of how the web works, from SQL to HTML
·Delivery experience within an agile project is essential
