A Vendor Manager with experience of working within I.T. programme and project teams is required to develop RFI/RFPs and manage the end-to-end interface with procurement colleagues globally.
Some Technical delivery experience would be a clear advantage with an ability to review and influence SoWs, technical documents, with an ability to communicate fluently in German an advantage but not essential.
Experience of working in Financial Services/Banking industry is not a pre-requisite but would be beneficial.
Whilst support will be provided from colleagues and senior resources, a knowledge of IT contract development, third party risk management, vendor relationship and performance management, sourcing experience across all IT categories would be a clear advantage. Candidates should be able to clearly demonstrate their ability to make an early and positive contribution to this role as there are a number of business critical projects in the pipeline that will require external Sourcing and the Vendor management team are seen as a key contributor in ensuring business commitments are delivered to time, cost, and exceptional quality.
The role requires an enthusiastic and confident individual with the appetite end/or experience of managing stakeholders at various levels and their expectations during the Sourcing cycle will be a key contributor to the success of anyone applying for this role. Coaching and mentoring to progress to a role with more responsibility will be provided.
