Our client is a major Broadcasting company seeking a UX/UI Information Architect based in west London for an initial 3 month contract with a view for extension. Our client is currently optimising their sales software over a multi-year project. They are looking to recruit a member of the UX team with a background in developing wireframes in UCD (user-centred design) projects in an Agile environment from concept to delivery.
The role of the Information Architect is to work closely with business analysts, technical analysts and business representatives to:
*Understand and document their business models and goals
*Help implement UX strategy , content and features for design of the Application
*Analyse audiences and their information and functional needs, taking inputs from UX Researcher's analysis and findings
*Implement application architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built
*Follow High Level User Stories, Customer and User Journeys, wireframes, site maps, schematics, process maps, feature lists etc. in order to deliver 'mock-ups' and visual specification
*Create working prototypes and other artefacts to describe the intended user experience
Professional and personal skills sought
*Intermediate knowledge of site design; solid understanding of principles of UI design (HCI, HTML5, CSS3)
*High desire to develop further understanding of usability and user/customer experience
*Exposure to Contact Centre environments (Optional)
*Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
*Working knowledge of user centric design principles and practices (UCD/Agile)
*Effective communication skills
*Good interpersonal skills
*Detail-oriented
*Experience in Agile environments
*Experience working with wireframes as functional specifications
*MUST HAVE DEMONSTRABLE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF OMNIGRAFFLE
The candidate must also be available for travel to North of England and Scotland as a part of the role.
