Our client, a leading member of the Public Sector, requires a contracted Test Automation Lead for a 6 months contract role based in Telford.
The role will involve working in a team of testers on the Define, Design and Build & Test preparation of the Test Approach for the full E2E Test Lifecycle on a number of release projects. The work is extremely varied, very challenging and requires a good level of testing skills, reporting to a Test Manager. Activities include analysing customer requirements from a test perspective and producing the Test Approach for the Project for the Test Manager. This role requires an exceptional understanding of test techniques and Risk Based Testing (RBT) in order to specify the test approach across the E2E Test Lifecycle to deliver to Test Managers
The successful candidate needs excellent knowledge in Test Automation, and currently is working at a Test Lead level.
Desirable technical experience is ISEB/ISTQB Foundation and / or Practitioner or equivalent. COOL:Gen. Excel. All of these will enable the Test Lead assist team and understand the technicalities of testing.
Desirable business skills include Knowledge of IDMS and a Knowledge of MODES & Frameworks.
