My private sector health client is looking for a Deployment Design and Spine Application Technical Specialist. The successful candidate will have in depth configuration knowledge as well as expert integration experience. The candidate will have responsibility of undertaking the deployment of applications from suppliers onto the NHS spine path to live and live environments and act as a subject matter expert in all areas of Oracle application server and related products.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deployment Design integrating application server and packaging methodologies to products delivered by the Third Party suppliers.
*Out of hours support including evening and weekend working plus being part of an on call rota when required. This is to support deployment and live transition activities.
*Configuration and management of deployed middleware (appserver, message broker, etc)
*Root cause analysis and defect resolution
*Liaison with vendors, suppliers and the wider Spine teams
*Knowledge transfer, training and documentation
*Provide consultancy to other groups within BT (architecture & design, development, release management, service introduction)
*Providing feedback to customer on issues faced and being able to articulate technical matters to non-technical management
*Support the Line of Business with assessing new opportunities that have an impact on the Path to Live environments and Live.
