
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Recovery Manager / Business Continuity Manger with experience of managing Infrastructure technology environments for Oracle Databases, Solaris version 10, TCP/IP, Advantage, Base 24 and HP Non-Stop systems who is looking to work with cutting edge technology within an organisation that invests heavily in their staff.
The successful Technical Recovery Manager's accountabilities will include but not be limited to: end to end technical management of 1st and 2nd line support incidents through to technical conclusion meeting customer SLA's and service expectation, you will be accountable for implementing and maintaining all technical recovery documentation and procedures including SOC working instructions and managing all medium sized changes across the technology stack using matrix managed 2nd line support team.
In order to be considered for this role it is key that you hold commercial exposure to Oracle Databases, Solaris version 10, TCP/IP, Advantage, Base 24 and HP Non-Stop systems have a strong technical knowledge, predominantly focused on infrastructure, and applications technologies and standards, you will understand how applications interface and interact with the infrastructure and network and are able to provide direction, mentoring, training plans and support to staff to ensure efficiencies and continuous performance improvement.
