Our client requires a Technical lead based in Gosport.
Reporting to the Project Manager (PM) the Technical Lead (TL) will be a technical consultant who will have responsibility for the management of the technical requirements and issues which arise. The TL will develop and implement the File Transfer technical design through to an effective solution in line with agreed requirements. TL will act as a focal point for the technical team and will liaise with the PM throughout the project lifecycle.
* Own the technical elements of the Application and processes.
* Prepares technical design for the software application.
* Participates in Work Product Reviews.
* Estimates effort and duration for tasks related to software elements.
* Assures the completeness, accuracy and integrity of deliverables.
* Investigates and resolves technical design ambiguity.
* Performs requirement determination and analysis.
* Liaises with the internal teams, regarding technical requirement definition and refinement.
* Regularly liaise with other Team Members in regard to technical issues.
SKills required:
* Liaise with the security architect and compile the detailed File Transfer requirements, design/reviews and build/test.
* Defence /Public sector Security Accreditation
* FTP experience in a Data Centre security environment.
* Assist the PM in the compilation of reports.
SC clearance is required for this position, however candidates willing to run through the checks may also be considered.
