Sourced Components Leader (Procurement, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Mechanical and Aerospace) will be responsible for project managing the sourcing and supply of all A350 trailing edge components which are not being designed and manufactured in house. You will work with external suppliers to ensure that products meet quality and technical specifications, and ensure that all supplies are delivered to schedule and cost.
Essential Responsibilities:
You will liaise closely with engineering, sourcing and manufacturing teams ensuring that sourced components can be integrated with all in house components to ensure seamless delivery to the customer by:
*Identify program requirements for sourced components
*Work with sourcing and supply chain teams to establish credible vendors
*Ensure quality and technical specifications of all sourced components
*Attend customer meetings to review program status as required
*Communicate to all internal stakeholders on sourced components
*Track budget and cost and ensure all decisions made are in line with program financial requirements
*Liaise closely with suppliers throughout the program life
Qualifications/Requirements:
*Qualified to degree level in mechanical or aerospace engineering or demonstrable appropriate experience
*Experience in a project-based engineering position
*Sound analytical and problem solving skills
*Strong oral and written communication skills
*Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
*Proven ability to interact with customers successfully
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time
