A Solution Delivery Lead is required for a 9 month contract based in Bristol, for a large financial services client.
The role is customer-facing with the Consultant acting as a single point of contact within the Solution Design Authority for solution delivery on key client projects.
The Consultant is responsible for ensuring that solutions meet client requirements, are delivered via the project lifecycle process complying with relevant strategies or architectural standards and are fit for operational support.
The role holder will work closely with Architecture to deliver the solution design on assigned projects, and supports the project manager to ensure technical deliverables within the project are delivered on time, cost effectively and meet the required specifications.
Experience in the financial services industry is desirable, as is a broad technical skillset, with knowledge (or deep understanding) of:
oOracle DB, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle BIP, MS SQL Server.
oLinux and Windows (Server, Desktop, Active Directory, SCCM).
oCitrix - XenApp and XenDesktop, and general user access patterns.
oWeb technologies - Apache, Tomcat, JBoss.
oUnderstanding of Secure Datacentre Networking, Firewalls and Reverse Proxy technologies.
