Our client, a global media industry company is currently recruiting for a Software Escalations Developer
Primary Objective:
The role offers considerable variety and the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and overseeing of the quality of developed products issued for testing from both Development and Product Teams prior to customer release applying best practice during the Software Development life cycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
·Working closely with the Development, Product teams and Sales team. Interaction with Implementation and Sales teams will also be required.
·Maintain in-depth knowledge of software products and be able to effectively use this knowledge to author documentation for distributions
·Construct Test Plans to satisfy usage of products in a variety of different environments thinking "out of the box" of testing applications functionality and non functional requirements such as scale and performance.
·Manage testing resources and collate results feedback for sign off, or issue to Developers for resolution.
·Manage bugs and wishes within Team Foundation Server collating reproduction steps
·Construct automated test plans using Microsoft Visual Studio
·Construct required documentation working to project timelines and delivery requirements
·Manage beta test sites with Product Manager for early adopters promoting prompt feedback to achieve product sign off
·Responsible for participating in team meetings as required and keeping records / producing reports as needed to document and signal progress.
·Responsible for keeping Development Manager / Product Manager informed and up to date of work status.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
·Experience in similar role with similar responsibilities translating developer notes into test plans
·Good organizational skills are essential
·Experience working with Front Office applications
·Microsoft Office Product Range
·Microsoft Windows
·Legal Case/Document Management Systems
·Technical background including knowledge of Microsoft .Net development, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and above, managing and installing Test Environments
·Strong understanding and demonstration of the soft skills required in terms of professionalism, conduct and execution in a client-facing role
·4 year Software Engineering Degree or equivalent
·Experience in leading end-user training, and developing relevant, clear and concise documentation
·Able to travel if required
Bonus Skills:
·Experience working in a team environment being familiar with Agile development processes and Scrum methodologies
·Experience in Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Test Manager
·Hold or working towards an ISEB qualification
