
The successful applicant as Service Delivery manager will hold the key accountability of delivering SAP applications management services using offshore teams based in India. The successful candidate will work closely with the UK based Senior Service Delivery Manger providing SAP support services from dedicated and knowledgeable teams. You will ensure service levels are met or exceeded by the offshore staff using agreed process and procedures to deliver the agreed quality of service, you will provide input to regular audits reviewing this. You will plan and deliver change requested by the client, working with the UK Senior Service Delivery Manger where resource is split across geographies.
You will also be responsible for the ongoing resourcing of the offshore teams within these the scope of the Surrey, Gloucestershire and Derbyshire accounts, and ensure appropriate training is delivered to all new members to the team.
Finally you will act as a Major Incident Manager for these accounts in parallel with the offshore Service Delivery Managers and teams, and to respond to high priority incidents and provide any necessary escalation.
The successful applicant will posses the following key skills;
Good understanding of SAP systems
Excellent knowledge of Service Delivery Management for SAP systems
Service Management experience in an ITIL environment
Previous experience of managing offshore teams
