A Global organisation supplying business and financial information, financial markets knowledge and technology solutions, seeks a senior .Net Developer to undertake a Senior Technical Consultant position within a small business area that operates as a separate business entity.

The Team and Role
The .Net Senior Technical Consultant will join a team of 12 who provide search, document and knowledge management technology to the legal industry. This is a broad technical consultancy role where the senior Technical Consultant will be responsible for leading and delivering projects from initial client consultant stage right through the entire project lifecycle to post-implementation stage, working closely with the clients throughout in order to design and deliver the best solution. Although a heavily client-facing role, the senior .Net Technical Consultant will be technically hands-on, spending about 70% of their time on software development. The Senior Technical Consultant will report directly into the head of the business and will be able to speak both the technical and non-technical languages.
The Technical Solutions Architect will have a strong mix of technical and interpersonal skills including:
* At least 2-3 years' experience in .Net development
* Strong development skills using .Net - C# and ASP.Net
* Skills in JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSLT and SQL Server
* Very strong interpersonal and client facing skills
* The capacity to lead technical projects
