Our client, a global media industry company is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer.
Purpose:
Work as a Senior Network Engineer working on capabilities for Collaboration Services as part of Common Platform development. You will be working very closely with the Development and Test teams and directly involved in managing and expanding test environments during the software development cycle.
Top Skills:
§ In-depth and hands on Experience in installation and configuration of complex networks and network architecture and topologies design
§ In-depth experience in Windows Active Directory, TCP/IP and routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, WINs, Cisco routers and switches, firewalls
§ Experience with set up and management of vSphere Virtualization technology
§ Good networking and trouble shooting skills are a must
Requirements:
* In-depth and hands on Experience in complex WAN and LAN architecture and topologies design
* In-depth hands on experience with common Network hardware and architecture including Cisco and F5
* In-depth experience in Active Directory, TCP/IP and routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, WINs, Cisco routers and switches, firewalls.
* Excellent hardware and networking skills for Windows Operating Systems.
* Install server OS and related applications i.e. virus software, backup etc.
* Experience with set up and management of vSphere Virtualization technology
* Working experience in Data Centre, software development and test environments.
* Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of network devices
* Some experience in scripting abilities (custom scripting for configuration management and network monitoring)
* Manages machine and network inventory
* Technical documentation skills such as network logical and physical diagrams
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 a plus
* Has lead or mentored other network engineers
* Must be a team player
* Very Focused and Challenged
* BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Networking or related field
