The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering the cost effective, innovative security solutions architecture. Scope includes engineering and integrating security into systems and applications, services and processes, reducing complexity and providing the optimal defence in depth protection for assets based on industry best practices.
Key Accountabilities
Analyse business requirements and design security solutions deliver optimal level of protection
Responsible for security architecture in several security domains (network, host, application, data, SIEM, IAM, cryptography), based on experience and allocation.
Monitor emerging threats and security technologies and adjust security architecture roadmap accordingly
Develop and manage the delivery of technical security standards and secure configurations.
Consolidate solutions across the group and reduce complexity.
Ensure security is integrated into the global payment applications.
Act as Security Subject matter Expert (SME
Deliver security solutions from inception, proof of concept, testing, and implementation and hand over to Security operations.
Engage with Enterprise architects to ensure the security architecture is aligned with the business strateg
Skills & Experience
Architectural and engineering background
Consultation skills working with project team
Experience in the Payment Processing Industry, card processing and security of financial networks is benefitial
Familiar with enterprise architecture methodologies, such as TOGAF
Familiar with Security Architecture framework such as SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture
Holding a current industry Security related certification (i.e. - CISSP, CISA, and CISM) is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in engineering covering initiation, planning, managing build, and handover to operations
