Our global blue chip client, in the energy sector, is looking for an accomplished Project Accountant for its operation in Aberdeen.
The role will be for a minimum of 6 months but could extend longer. The role is a vital link between operations and finance and will involve gaining a deep understanding of the P&L of major international projects and multi-currency transactions. This will include detailed analysis of the operational drivers behind costs and values to be recharged and effectively communicating corrective actions with budget holders. It will also require some complex reconciliation of expenditure and liaison with auditors.
You will have strong analytical and communication skills and be used to working in a team.
You will also have experience in a large company environment and a high level of PC literacy.
A professional qualification in finance would be advantageous, but is not essential.
