
Mathematical Modeller/ Algorithm Designer (AI, Bayesian Networks, Neural Networks, Graphical Models, Statistics, Clustering, MATLAB, C, C++, Java, .NET) in the area of integrated vehicle health management (IVHM).
Responsibilities
*Use mathematical modelling techniques to extract business intelligence and actionable information from rich and complex datasets pertaining to aircraft, engine, and airline operations.
*Liaise closely with project leaders, domain specialists and the technical fellow in prototyping, developing and applying existing and novel tools and techniques
*Generate diagnostic and prognostic intelligence within the aerospace domain.
Key Requirements
*1st, 2:1, MSc or PhD in maths, science, engineering or equivalent
*Experience or knowledge of mathematical modelling techniques pertaining to prediction, anomaly modelling, reasoning and optimisation
*Interest in advanced data-mining and data-analysis for decision support
*Interest in algorithm design, prototyping and validation
*Interdisciplinary communication to forge connections with diverse domain specialists
Desired:
*Knowledge of artificial intelligence techniques such as Bayesian networks, neural networks, graphical models, statistics, clustering.
*Software experience including OO (e.g. MATLAB, C, C++, Java, .NET)
*Interest in developing leadership skills
