
A Lead Network Tools Architect is required to join an International Information Technology Services company. The Lead Network Tools Architect will be shaping the tooling roadmap to drive efficiency, smarter working practices and protect the integrity of their networks. The Lead Network Tools Architect's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: driving a transformation of the current legacy platforms in to a World-Class delivery platform leveraging a best of breed in tooling systems. You would be liaising with cross boarder teams to develop standards, policy and design and also roadmap and strategy development for network management systems covering Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security Management (FCAPS). You would also be responsible for executing and communicating the strategy to transform delivery working practices through network management systems, developing network management systems policies, standards and blueprints and developing bespoke scripting to deliver optimised efficiency of task automation or report generation.
Interested candidates need to have experience of providing technical leadership and vision with an excellent working knowledge of CA Spectrum, Cisco Works, Unix, Linux and Windows server platforms. You will also need to have an in-depth knowledge and experience of designing and implementing large multi-platform network management systems and ideally a Cisco certification and experience of HP Openview.
