Lead C++ Engineer - Linux, Windows

A Global organisation supplying business and financial information, financial markets knowledge and technology solutions, seeks an experienced lead C++ Software Engineer to bring some Linux expertise to the Real-time Core and Distribution Development team.
This development team is responsible for developing and maintaining core high-throughput, low latency real time networks which support some of the most demanding financial applications in the market today. The software engineers evolve and enhance the current systems and develop new applications.

The Role
The Lead Software Engineer (Linux based C++) will primarily work within this team on:
* The development of a Linux-based C++ application framework
* On-going maintenance and development of a high performance capture system
The Lead C++ Software Engineer will have:
* At least 5 years' development experience
* Strong C++ Linux-based development experience (may consider Windows based C++ developers if profile otherwise strong)
* Ideally further skills in Windows-based C++ development
* Ideally experience of real-time network
