A Java Developer is required to join a leading IT Services Provider to work as part of a growing Systems Integration Development function. You will join a Java team that receives a large amount of Investment and specialises in building software projects across multiple industry sectors including Government, Finance and Transport. The successful Java Developer will join a group of specialist software developers where you will be supported by world standard tooling and best practice. You will take responsibility for the design, build, unit and link testing and support through subsequent System Test and UAT phases. Additional responsibilities wil include but not be limited to: carrying out operational maintenance tasks, supporting bespoke applications running in a complex SOA framework, providing technical leadership and providing direction for less experienced team members.
Interested applicants will need to have commercial experience in Java coding in a development environment in Java 1.4+ encompassing JSE and Java EE. You will have a technical knowledge that ideally includes: core principles of OO Programming, standard JSE API, Spring or Java EE and JUnit.
