The successful Java Developers' responsibilities will include but not be limited to: designing and developing Java applications within an EJB and SOA environment, translating functional requirements into technical requirements and design documents, owning or influencing the technical solution, working in an iterative RUP environment, incorporating Agile practices and techniques, using industry leading frameworks and the latest Java technologies and introducing best practices from the wider industry.
Interested Java applicants will need to: have strong Java JEE design and development skills (ideally both application tier and presentation tier experience), full lifecycle experience of Java and J2EE solutions, good understanding of Spring or Hibernate frameworks, solid experience with the use of JUnit, continuous builds and ANT.
