IT systems and Data Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high profile client of ours, based in central London. The IT Systems and Data Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation has effective infrastructure and business IT systems and data security and management strategies, systems and practices aligned to the delivery of business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing a coherent and aligned IT architecture and data management strategy
- Ensuring all systems fit with the IT architecture and that data usage is in line with organisational needs and compliant with legislative requirements
- Working with project/business managers to specify systems and data requirements
- Ensuring the security and integrity of data used across the organisation
Essential requirements:
- Strong understanding of relevant systems architecture, security and customer facing data management
- Experience of data and IT security policies and practices (preferably in a public sector environment - HMG Information Assurance Standard)
- Hands-on ability to offer long term workable solutions and act as an internal technology and data consultant
- Strong service delivery management experience
- ITIL (level ) qualified or equivalent
