Our client requires a Senior Technical Lead to work onsite in Derby.
Role:
As a Senior Technical Leader the ideal candidate will be required to fulfil several key functions:
*Function as an Applications Architect working with key account and customer Executives to develop IT strategies and programmes of change.
*Support key sales activities ensuring optimum technical solutions that can be delivered to time and budget constraints.
*Understand and Support Corporate Portfolio and Go to Market Strategies driving regional implementations and providing regional requirements.
*Drive consistent standards and processes to improve quality and productivity.
*Lead key Enterprise application implementation programmes.
*Ensure that optimal trade-offs are made across multiple technology disciplines to deliver fully integrated Enterprise-grade solutions.
*Lead key innovation activities.
Experience:
Significant experience in the Planning, Architecture, Design, Build, Implementation and Operation Phases of Enterprise systems supporting many thousands of users.
Experience in full lifecycle management process on large scale Enterprise projects and the ability to implement lifecycle management processes on large scale projects.
Ability to understand and mould business strategies & requirements into innovative logical architectures and engineering solutions.
Must have:
Knowledge and experience on large scale projects involving the following:
*Desktop and Back Office systems
*Enterprise Application Hosting covering COTS and custom applications and supporting infrastructure
*Middleware technologies for Enterprise applications: DBMS, Application Server (especially J2EE), Data Integration, Load Balancing etc.
*Supporting infrastructure platforms: Servers, Operating Systems, Storage, Network (LAN and WAN), Security.
SC clearance is required for this role however candidates willing to go through the checks may also be considered.
